The Construction Academy is a unique employer-led initiative which aims to develop the skills of employees across Norfolk through new and innovative approaches to delivery which meet the needs of local businesses and raise the qualification and motivation levels of their employees.
With a partnership which comprises colleges, private training providers, business support agencies and key local employers, the Construction Academy has developed a brokerage system which streamlines the process of sourcing training and leaves businesses free to get on with doing business.
The Construction Academy is engaged in ensuring that young people wishing to enter the industry and apprentices have the greatest opportunity to learn and develop, through its progressive new internship scheme and a unique apprentice sharing model which allows businesses greater freedom and flexibility.
The Construction Academy also supports the development of the adult workforce, by signposting employers to organisations with access to funding for NVQ qualifications and the attainment of CSCS cards.
We recognise that training and development of your staff is an essential component of winning new business, and that a business which invests in their staff is well placed to win contracts on quality, and not just price.
