Access to Funding
Finding the money to train your staff is one of the biggest headaches faced by small and medium-sized businesses. For this reason, the Construction Academy, in conjunction with our regional partners, works continuously to access new and diverse funding streams which will pay for qualifications and training. We currently have the following schemes available:
NVQ2 Assessment
As part of the Learning and Skills Council’s Profit from Learning scheme, the Construction Academy can offer businesses funding to allow their unqualified staff to achieve a level 2 qualification through assessment in the workplace. This scheme has a limited duration, and places are strictly limited.
CSCS Cards
Working with the Learning and Skills Council and the European Social Fund, the Construction Academy has secured funding to support micro businesses in attaining CSCS Experienced Worker cards for their staff. Places are strictly limited, and available on a first come, first served basis.
